BLOKE
Based in Cannock, in the heart of the Midlands, the four-piece are certainly no newcomers to the live music scene.
Under the name of BabyFace they extensively toured the U.K, with the likes of Feeder, Glenn Hughes, Wolfsbane, Toyah and Blow. Their debut CD “Forward in Reverse” received airplay on both local and national radio, with even a Brazilian radio station featuring the bands material on its rock show!

Around the mid 1990’s during the “tribute band boom”, with the demand for original bands in decline, the band decided to try and widen their appeal with the creation of BLOKE.
Billed as “a tribute to rock music with attitude”, the BLOKE set is drawn from a melting pot of rock styles, heavily influenced by the music featured on Kerrang radio everyday of the week.

The enthusiastic response received from audiences, in pubs, clubs, schools, colleges, universities, VW festivals, custom bike rallies and private parties is testimony to the fact that BLOKE are a band whose strength lie in their live shows and whose sense of humour is always as loud as the songs they perform.
